Paolo Frattini was born in 1976 and lives in Varese [Italy].
He studied classical guitar with M°G.Motta, electric bass with Paolo Costa, upright bass at the G Verdi Conservatory in Milan and improvisation, ear training and composition with Marco Conti.
During all these years he has had the chance to play tournèe in Italy, France, UK, Austria, Benelux, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, Spain, USA, Canada.
He also collaborated in theatre with Carlo Verdone, Joice Yuille, Barbara Evans, Suzy Wong. He performed live and recorded with lot of different bands and artists such as Junior Wells, Julia St.Louis, Tullio De Piscopo, Radoslav Lorkovic, Elliott Murphy, Bassi Maestro, Tormento, Piotta, No One Else. He also worked for many years with the italian producer Giuliano Boursier at the Sunrise Studio. Also, Paolo took part in clinics with Furio di Castri and Paolino Dalla Porta [at Siena Jazz, 1995] and with Stuart Hamm, Marcus Miller, Alain Caron and Gary Willis.
At the moment, he is playing bass for Sherrita Duran [European Gospel Tour]
Paolo plays live Bass Dj Set for various events in many glamour locations like: Gattopardo & Karma [Milan], Pacha [Ibiza], Tropicana [Mykonos], Qvivi [Palermo], & more.
His solo project released 10 albums in 20 years [more than 80.000 cd copies distributed]only recording original compositions, including different styles: funk, acidjazz, rap, soul, trip-hop.
These days, Paolo is also teaching @ his studio in Varese and is working as a freelance Musician, Dj & Music Events Designer.
